Susana Adelina Moreira Carvalho Bastos was born in 1971 in Matosinhos, Portugal. Specialist in Accounting, PhD in Education and Didactics, Master of Accounting and Administration. Senior lecturer since 1998 at ISCAP-IPP - Polytechnic of Porto, Porto Accounting and Business School, where she teaches various course units in the areas of Financial Accounting and Public Accounting. The Empowerment of Students is the main topic of her research through the insertion of active methodologies for the promotion of soft digital skills in the student academic curriculum. She is currently responsible for the Office of Environment and Business Simulation which includes the course units of Business Simulation Project I and II; Laboratory Practices of General Accounting, Financial Accounting, Elements of Financial Accounting and Public Accounting.
