Joaquim Pratas
Associate Researcher
Joaquim Pratas has a PhD in Business Sciences / Management (specialisation in Marketing and Strategy), a Master of Management, and a Bachelor of Economics from the School of Economics and Management - University of Porto.
Currently, he is a senior lecturer at the Porto Accounting and Business School - Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISCAP - IPP).
His main interests involve Marketing, Retail, E-Business, Globalisation, Tourism, Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Spacial Computing. Presently, he is a researcher at the Centre for Organisational and Social Studies (CEOS.IPP), and the Research Unit in Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) at the University of Aveiro.
He was a professor at several universities, and practitioner in one of the biggest retailers in Portugal (Advertising, Customer Relationship Management, Brand Management, Space Management and Business Analysis teams).
