He holds a Bachelor of Management from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, is a PhD student on the PhD programme in Economic Analysis and Business Strategy at the University of Vigo, and holds a Master of Business Management with a specialisation in Accounting, Economic and Financial Auditing from the Autonomous University of Lisbon. He is a specialist in Public Accounting from the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave, a member of the Public Accounting Specialty College of the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association, a guest senior lecturer at the Higher Institute of Administration and Languages, and a consultant, trainer and certified accountant. He works in the Regional Public Administration of Madeira.
